These are some of the questions you need to be asking yourself if you want to take your music career beyond the local club scene. Making business contacts and street teams will ultimately push your career forward.

Get out there, identify who your most influential alliances are (or might be) and work the network. Once you’ve reached out and touched everyone… do it again! Remember… consistency and doing what others won’t breeds success!

Ok… so the new year – errrr make that new decade has arrived! You’re on an all time high and all is going well. Great right. Cool. We all need to have a good time and feel good about ourselves and our lot in life. But what if someone rains on your parade? What if you receive a bad music review?

Is your belief in your vision and yourself strong enough to pull you through the hard times? I hope so for your sake…

There’s nothing that will take you further in life and in your music career than the ability to maintain a clear and linear focus on your internal happiness and positivity. A total focus on you and you alone. Although most will tell you tunnel vision is a small minded affair, when it comes to your mindset and your career… operating with tunnel vision might be the one thing that will push you to heights you might never have dreamed possible.

Be the guardian of your thoughts and emotions. Be the gatekeeper of your mind… There’s nothing in life more important to your success than what you think. Inside and out…

Hello my music friends!

With the new year approaching and resolutions on the horizon, I thought I’d chime in and drop my 2 cents on what I think can be very helpful and instrumental in achieving your desired levels of success for the new year in my latest podcast series…

Yes I’ve finally gotten around to airing my podcast again! I’ve been awol for awhile and I have to send out my apologies for that… but hey I’m back I’ve learned a ton in the last year – I’ve got lots of great content to share with you – so I’ve put together a series of podcasts that I think will be useful to you in getting your mind in the right space for the coming year and I hope you can take some good things out of them and apply them to your career development and push yourself a little harder to get what it is you’re looking to go after.

I could beat a dead horse and tell you to take action but most of you already know that without action there really are no rewards so I’ll let sleeping dogs lie and intro this first episode with a simple word… Vision!

Without it you’re chasing your tail and those who have one – Vision – and follow it are finding the success they deserve… and rightfully so. Listen in and you’ll get the gist of what I’m driving at.
